Beef with Peas Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack green peas
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 3 medium sized potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 medium sized carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 can corn kernels
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 cups finely chopped beef sirloin
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

Directions:
Cover beef sirloin with flour.
In a casserole pot, heat up olive oil and toss in floured beef sirloin.
Brown the beef on all sides.
Toss in all other ingredients.
Cook for around 3-4 minutes.
Add in beef broth and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, turn down heat and continue to cook for 1 to 1.5 hours.
