- 2 slices your choice of bread (suggested: whole grain or white)
- 2 thin slices deli or provolone ham
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 tsp mayonnaise
- 1-2 tsp butter
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
Preheat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Spread both sides of each slice of bread with butter.
Place both slices in the hot skillet for 1-2 minutes, then flip over.
Spread one slice of bread with desired amount of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
Then top with the Swiss cheese and ham.
Wait until the cheese is partially melted then assemble 2 slices to make a sandwich.
