- 3 cups button mushrooms, rough chopped
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup all-purpose cream
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
In a medium sized pot, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
Add the olive oil to keep the butter from burning.
Add in onions and chopped mushroom and saute till tender.
In a mixing bowl, dissolve the flour in the chicken broth until very smooth.
Add the broth and flour mix into the pot with mushroom and bring to a boil.
Add in all-purpose cream, salt, and pepper.
Reduce heat and continue cooking with constant stirring.
Simmer for 10-12 minutes.
Serve with your favorite bread.
