Chicken Nuggets


  • 4 boneless (and skinless) chicken breasts, cut into your preferred sizes
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs (add more as needed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup corn oil

Mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
Toss chicken and mix using your hand. Make sure all pieces are coated evenly.
In a small bowl, beat the 2 eggs. Optionally season with some salt and pepper.
Place breadcrumbs in a wide plate or shallow bowl.
Take a piece of flour-coated chicken and dunk into beaten egg and then into the breadcrumbs. Place on a dry tray.
Repeat this until all chicken pieces are coated with the egg and breadcrumbs.
In a large pan, heat up the corn oil over medium to high heat.
Fry the chicken pieces until brown on both sides.
Transfer fried chicken nuggets onto a plate with paper towels to remove excess oil.
Optionally season with more salt.
