- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 2 cups fresh cherries (pitted)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 recipe pastries for an 8-inch pie shell
- butter (optional)
- powdered sugar (optional)
Mix the flour, sugar, and ground cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
Add in blueberries and cherries.
Add lemon juice.
Mix all ingredients well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Cover with strips of top crust and crimp edges.
Glaze with the butter or margarine (optional).
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.
Sprinkle powdered sugar (optional).
