- 12 pcs chicken drumsticks (or your choice parts)
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- olive oil
- 1/2 cup water (or as needed)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients to make a seasoning mixture.
Rub chicken pieces with olive oil and sprinkle all sides with seasoning mixture.
Place chicken in a broiler pan and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink in the center.
Use an instant read thermometer to check. The center temperature should be at least 160 degrees F.
Remove chicken from pan and place on a serving plate or skillet.
Pour some water into the pan and scrape all the brow bits off with a wooden spoon. Serve this alongside chicken.
Serve with your favorite vegetables. Peas, carrots, green beans and corn will go well with this recipe.
