Pan Roasted Peaches


  • 3 fresh ripe peaches, sliced in half and pitted
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • brown sugar
  • cinnamon powder
  • some water
  • vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Arrange the peaches in a baking dish skin side down.
Spread the cut side and cavities of the peaches with some butter.
Sprinkle each peach with liberal amount of brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
Fill the pan with water to about half an inch up.
Bake for between 30-35 minutes or until the tops are browned.
Serve warm with a scoop (or two) of vanilla ice cream (or whipped cream) toppings of your choice.
