• 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 & 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • vegetable or canola oil

Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into a large mixing bowl.
Make a well in the middle and add in the milk, egg and melted butter
Using a hand mixer, mix everything until smooth.
Heat a frying pan with about 1-2 tsp vegetable or canola oil over medium heat.
Pour batter onto the pan (about 4 tbsp per pancake).
Lightly brown both sides and serve with your favorite fruits (like strawberries and/or blueberries).
Add butter and Karo syrup as desired.
