Chicken Burger


  • 1 kilogram ground chicken breast
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 2 carrots, finely chopped
  • 1 can button mushrooms (or use fresh, if preferred), chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lettuce
  • cheese singles

In a medium sized pan, heat up the olive oil over medium to high heat.
Toss in chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until translucent.
Add in chopped carrots, mushrooms, and tomatoes.
Cook until carrots reach desired tenderness.
Set aside and allow to cool.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken and cooked vegetables. Add in the bread crumbs, raw egg, salt and pepper.
Mix well using your hands and form patties.
Fry patties on a lightly oiled pan until all sides are brown.
Serve in hamburger buns with lettuce, sliced red onions, and cheese.
